Ephemeral Memory

People retain images as memories, and these memories can distort through the passage of time and the experiences of the one holding the memory. From the starting point of the original image, any number of distortions can occur based on the actions of the individual, creating an infinite number of unique results. Through the use of forced perspective, anamorphic scaling and liner motion, the image of the car park is seen fleetingly as the scattered elements align, before fragmenting and tearing apart. The building form behind is thrust out from this fake façade, hidden perfectly at the moment the image is created, then stretching out from the site as two thin elements that capture the speed of the velodrome and the infinite stretch of memory from the initial point of experience.
